Harvest 2009
Celebrate Harvest with Christian Aid and you'll be helping women like Chandramma in drought-hit India.
The focus of Christian Aid's church Harvest materials is Chandramma. Born a ‘weeder’ and belonging to the dalit class formally known as ‘the untouchables’ in India, she worked most of her life in others’ fields in exchange for meagre handouts.
But all that changed when she joined a women’s group supported by Christian Aid. Working together, the women used traditional farming methods to turn a wasteland in a drought-hit region of India into rich farmland.

Journey to Jerusalem
During Lent we challenge you to go beyond hearing about the people in the Holy Land, hear from them instead.
Every day through Lent our virtual pilgrimage will take you on an interactive journey.
Using short videos, podcasts, photo galleries, prayers and stories it will bring the Holy Land alive.
We will follow a route that takes in many of the locations mentioned as part of Jesus' journey towards Jerusalem. And along the way you will be able to find out more about issues, connect with other users, share your views and take part in actions that will help change lives.

Count Your Blessings (2009)
It's easier to give something up for Lent if you've got something to start with.
Every day respond by making a donation to the work of Christian Aid, supporting people who don’t have those things we often take for granted.
By working together and each playing our part, we can make a real difference to the lives of millions of people in developing communities around the world.
Make Lent count this year; through the money you give, though the prayers you offer and through the actions you take.
Give, act and pray for change
